Very good! with some new notes and some issues, December 1, 2009

Purchased this product a few days ago and used it for the first time two days ago. I am a long time fan/user of electronic muscle stim as a supplement to my regular workouts, and this product made my arms incredibly sore in the way that lets me know the muscles received a great stimulation. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add to their routine. A recent article in the Wall Street journal talked about how stim will NOT make you toned but it will make your muscles stronger. I use this product along with a regular gym routine to train my bi’s and tri’s.

EDIT – April 2010 – have had this product for 4 months now and wanted to amend my review. The little metal clips where the power pack attaches to the arm unit are a bit flimsy. Mine have come out about 3 times and I was lucky enough to find them and put them back into their sockets. I had to use pliers to force it back in. For a $100 item this should not be the case, I still use it and it works – but I would change my review to 4 stars based on this annoyance.

Affordable and comfortable, November 4, 2008

Take this review with a grain of salt… I only wear these for 50 min spin classes. That being said, they are great. Good fit, comfortable, padding doesn’t feel too diaperish… I only wish they were slightly lower cut and weren’t so long.

I like these shorts much better than the Pro version (I don’t like that sticky band that goes around the lower leg).

Aero Tech Designs has good customer service too. I exchanged for a larger size without even asking them first (I just shipped the shorts with a note in the box), and I received the exchange a couple of weeks later.

Wow, was I wrong. I had previously purchased the so-called "new" gelpads from the mfg. (yellow and black packaging) but found them to be of inferior quality and did not last long. When I first purchased these I thought they might be “second rate” simply because they were so inexpensive. Wow, was I wrong. I had previously purchased the so-called “new” gelpads from the mfg. (yellow and black packaging) but found them to be of inferior quality and did not last long. It reminded me of the old saying “they just don’t make ‘em like they used to”! I take care to properly maintain the gelpads and I get months of use out of them…by far great deal on excellent gelpads!
